Super Bowl Squares Scholarship Fundraiser

How it works:

Once all the squares have been selected, we will randomly pick numbers from 0-9 for each team in the Super Bowl, and assign that number to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the score of each team. In other words, if the score is Eagles17 - Chiefs 14, then the winning square is the one with a Eagles number of 7, and a Chiefs number of 4.

Since this is a fund raiser, 50% of the proceeds will go to the Kappa Alpha Psi Palo Alto Alumni Scholarship Fund, and the other 50% will be distributed among the participants with the winning squares.

BIG BOARD Updates:

Scenario 1: First Half No Winner & Second Half Winner

If the first half score lands on an unowned square (i.e. no winner), the winnings from the first half (25% of the pot) will be rolled over to the end of the game pot essentially creating a "jackpot". The winner at the end of the game will receive the "jackpot" prize.

Scenario 2: First Half Winner & Second Half No Winner

If the first half score lands on an owned square (i.e. a winner) the winnings from the first half (25% of the pot) will be distributed as normal to the winner and the first half scholarship allotment 25% will be credited to the scholarship fund. However, if the end of game score lands on an unowned square (i.e no winner at the end of the game) then participants will receive a refund for the second half of the game. (50% of your funds refunded)

Scenario 3: No Winner

If both the first half score and end of game score lands on an unowned square (i.e no winner) then all funds will be refunded to participants as the game did not produce a winner.
